LIAT and Digicel Raising Stars Together
Regional air carrier LIAT (1974) Ltd., rises to the stars as the Official Airline of Digicel Rising Stars contest. This week the first winners of the Digicel/LIAT competition were announced and presented with their tickets in various destinations.
Winners from St. Lucia were among the first to hear the good news and were presented with their coveted prize at the LIAT ticketing office, just in time for the Christmas holiday approaching.
Each week of the competition voters have the chance to win a ticket for two to any of LIAT's 19 Caribbean destinations of their choice. Winners are selected at random from the nine participating islands.
Chief Commercial Officer of LIAT, Leesa Parris, said "LIAT is committed to developing the talent of the region and is pleased to be associated with the Digicel Rising Stars competition which facilitates this." She added, "LIAT looks forward to working with Digicel in an ongoing process and we are delighted to see the success of the show."
Hundreds of fans tune into the popular show each week eagerly anticipating the announcement of the winner. The keenly contested competition concludes this weekend after 12 weeks.
